Insurance
|
As the activities we are offering will only involve you being with us for one to three days, we as a company do not make it compulsory for those people travelling with us to have specific travel insurance, although we do recommend it. Unless you already have in place an insurance product to cover activity/adventure sports that you participate in we generally find UK residents are quite guilty of not arranging insurance for participating in activities during leisure and recreational time whilst in their home country. As a general rule our activities are low risk and targeted to the introductory and intermediate markets thus most general travel insurance policies should cover the type of activities we either provide directly or arrange within our tour package. We do have the facility to arrange bespoke tours where you may choose to incorporate more adventurous activities; in these cases we would strongly recommend that you arrange appropriate insurance cover. If you are a UK visitor you will probably have some form of travel insurance already in place and it is important that you have read and fully understood every aspect of the product you have bought and that it fully meets your needs, always read the small print and check on any limitations and exclusions. In most cases these insurance policies can merely be topped up with extra cover just for the days and activities you shall be participating in with us. If you would like to arrange an insurance policy we have provided the details of some companies which we feel provide a good product, however we cannot make recommendations or endorse any of their products; it is up to the individual to check that it meets their own needs and covers the aspects that they wish to be insured against.
